Pulsed Light Photo Rejuvenation
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is designed to lighten brown spots and other benign pigmented lesions.  IPL therapy treats broken capillaries, rosacea and post-surgical bruising, leaving a smoother more even complexion.  Photo Rejuvenation treatments are time efficient so you can return to work or other activities- looking and feeling fine.

 

How does Intense Pulsed Light Therapy Work?
The IPL uses specialized hand pieces which emit pulses of light into the skin.  The light is absorbed by the pigment found in sunspots, rosacea, bruising, visible blood vessels and hair, then converted to heat.  The heat dissolves the cell that creates the pigment, leaving a more even complexion or by permanently destroying the hair follicle.
